A Palace Is A Silent Storyteller, Inviting Us To Listen

The Brief

Myntra’s celebrity brand ‘House of Pataudi’ reached out to us to extend their presence from purely online to 3 Dimensional physical and experiential stores. Translating a palace’s essence into a retail environment is a tall order in itself.

Challenges

Communicating the brand’s ethos, palatial power and presence whilst adhering to the limitations of Resources-Space-Funds was a delicate balance.

Next was setting standards and guidelines as the launch of the first store would set the direction for the brand’s physical retail presence.

Approach

Our core concept revolved around the subconscious drivers in human nature of be fascinated by fame. Translating it into a brand environment wherein every single element evoked grandeur, regality, nostalgia and generational wealth was an intensive process.

The Impact

Our concept and translation of the palace’s essence was extremely well received by the royal family and the internal stakeholders within Myntra.

Besides signing us up again for the next store, Team Myntra also asked NVISAGE to conduct a training for their VM & operations team to boost their design understanding and application.

Positively received and reviewed, launching a brand amidst tremendous fanfare and media glare is a feat in itself
